Buford jewelry store Didi Rose Jewelry has plans to expand to Phipps Plaza, according to a recent announcement from the shopping center.
The fine jewelry brand is crafted by hand by founder Benedicta Awere-Malik. Awere-Malik grew into jewelry making in college, learning about gold and precious stones to build on an avid passion for creating and designing items by hand.
Awere-Malik opened a physical storefront for Didi Rose, a nod to her childhood nickname Didi, in Buford in 2021. The Phipps Plaza store will mark the second location for the brand.
The brand is known for solid gold handmade chains and vibrant gemstone pendants. All items are crafted by Awere-Malik in her studio in Georgia, creating an environment for one-of-a-kind finds.
When Didi Rose Jewelry opens at Phipps Plaza, it will be located on the second level near the soon-to-come Ferozzi and J. Jill. An exact opening timeline has not been announced yet.
