Everyone needs a third space besides home and work.
The food, drink and entertainment concept Your 3rd Spot has big plans for Chicagoland as a new location is coming to 2021 Veridan Road in Schaumburg. This is a project that has been years in the making. Chief Vision Officer and Founder of Your 3rd Spot Josh Rossmeisl told What Now Chicago the team is looking to open sometime in early 2028.
The concept has a focus on games for adult groups, such as skeeball, darts, shuffleboard and hoops. Locations also have digital arcade options, card games like giant Uno and even game consoles to play on. Rossmeisl describes it as an “immersive, experiential brand.”
This new Your 3rd Spot is part of the upcoming Veridian development. This is a 30-acre area with a high-rise apartment and other tenants including Buttermilk Cafe. The outside will have a patio to bring both drinks and food.
“It’s a perfect spot for us,” Rossmeisl said.
For bites, Your 3rd Spot locations serve “first impressions like crab biscuit, lobster rangoons with cream cheese and spicy tuna crispy rice. Mains include burger sliders, shrimp + sweet corn flautas and crispy pork belly tacos. Rossmeisl said the Schaumburg space will have a menu of mostly small plates.
The new 30,000-square-foot building is where E Algonquin and N Meacham roads meet, at the southeastern corner. This is across the street from The Shoppes at Prime Village, featuring concepts like Chicago Prime Steakhouse and Nawabi Hyderabad House. The area is a mile-and-a-half north of Woodfield Mall.
