The permit covers renovations to the existing restaurant space, including work associated with preparing the property for the new location and its drive-thru operation. The scope reflects a substantial investment into the site as it is converted for the fast-food concept.
The project does not call for a change to the building’s use or exterior footprint, according to the filing. The property will instead be renovated within its existing configuration to accommodate the proposed restaurant. No opening date has been announced, so it remains unclear when the new Bojangles may begin serving customers.
The Murfreesboro Pike project would add to Bojangles’ presence in the Nashville market and place the chain along a busy commercial stretch of the city. The location would also give the brand another opportunity to serve customers through both its restaurant and drive-thru operations.
