Known for ice cream that is “A Scoop Above the Rest,” Bruster’s Real Ice Cream has grown considerably since its founding in 1989, with almost 200 locations in 22 U.S. states and Guyana. Now, the brand is preparing to expand its footprint in the South Carolina Lowcountry with a new location in Moncks Corner’s upcoming Foxbank Towne Center.
“It is the first of five spaces in a new commercial strip built by the developer to be leased,” says coverage by the Post and Courier.
With more than 150 rotating flavors in its repertoire, the brand offers 24 different flavors at each of its ice cream shops. It’s currently launching its fall flavors with Caramel Apple Crunch ice cream.
“We’re kicking off fall with a fan favorite, Caramel Apple Crunch!” says the Bruster’s website. “Sweet apple ice cream swirled with rich caramel, cinnamon ribbons, and packed with crunchy shortbread pieces.”
Bruster’s also served made-to-order desserts. This fall, it’s launching its Handmade Apple Dumplings: “Warmed apple dumpling served with two scoops of cinnamon ice cream and a drizzle of warm cinnamon sauce. Yum!”
“Bruster’s Ice Cream is made the old-fashioned way to create our signature flavor,” the website says. “Our handcrafted recipes always start with a proprietary homestyle mix delivered fresh from our own dairy to each ice cream shop. We serve premium flavors and artisan desserts made right in the store where they are served, including crunchy handmade waffle cones, customized sundaes, candy-filled blasts and thick milkshakes.”
The new location appears on a posting by Twin Rivers Capital:
“Foxbank Towne Center is at the heart of Foxbank Plantation, an 800-acre, 2,800+ home master-planned community in thriving Berkeley County, SC. Foxbank Towne Center provides a village area with a mix of potential commercial uses including a grocery store, drug store, offices, and retail. Strategically located to serve Foxbank Plantation, surrounding residential developments and the rapidly growing cities of Moncks Corner and Goose Creek, Foxbank Towne Center is poised to become the area’s central location for work, play and shopping.”
