What Now reported recently on plans for a new Smoothie King location to open in Myrtle Beach, replacing the former 45th Ave Crab House at 4515 Hwy 17 S. It’s a busy time for franchisees Brian and Keri Leachman, who are also preparing to open a new Salata Salad Kitchen in Greenville, with plans to then bring the brand to Charleston and Myrtle Beach.

As it happens, however, the Smoothie King opening (which is planned for December) is not the only location in the works in the area. According to the North Myrtle Beach Times, the Leachmans are planning another new Smoothie King in Carolina Forest.

“The Leachmans’ commitment to the local community also extends beyond their restaurant locations,” the coverage says. “Their business has been involved in several area initiatives, including providing a food truck at Pelicans baseball games, supplying meals for Coastal Carolina University students and providing lunches for private schools in the area.”

Smoothie King’s selection of smoothies includes “Get Fit” varieties like Gladiator Chocolate and the Orangetheory All Out Smoothie (Strawberries, Mangoes, Electrolyte Blend, Coconut Water, Gladiator Protein Vanilla, Bananas, Apple Juice Blend, Protein Blend), “Feel Energized” flavors like Coffee D-Lite Mocha (Cold Brew Coffee, Nonfat Milk, 100% Cocoa, Turbinado, Protein Blend, Vanilla Frozen Yogurt), “Manage Weight” smoothies like the Keto Champ Berry (Blueberries, Raspberries, Califia Farms® Almond Milk, Almond Butter, Keto Protein Blend, 100% Cocoa), and lots more.
