Cabana Club, the Palm Springs-inspired cocktail bar at 414 K St, Suite 125, in downtown Sacramento, has new ownership. State filings show Jalaj Group Incorporated, led by Frances Lincoln and Neil Blair, filed for a new liquor license on September 4, transferring from Butters Unlimited LLC, run by Paula Thompson since the bar first opened in 2024.
The club has been attracting Kings fans and downtown regulars with a menu of hand crafted cocktails, local wines and craft beers, alongside dishes from chefs Xavier and Carlos. The bar leans hard into its desert oasis aesthetic, tucked on the first level of DOCO just steps from the main Golden 1 Center entrance, positioning itself as a go-to pregame and post-work spot in the middle of downtown’s busiest entertainment corridor.
It sits along K Street, a historic stretch that runs from Old Sacramento through downtown and into Midtown, long established as the city’s main shopping, dining and entertainment corridor. The bar’s specific spot inside DOCO puts it in the busiest part of that stretch, surrounded by Golden 1 Center, Macy’s and a dense mix of restaurants and bars built around Kings games and downtown nightlife, giving the location a built-in flow of foot traffic well beyond a typical neighborhood bar.
