Alfred is headed to 23635 Calabasas Rd., where Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf previously operated. The company plans to open on November 5, an Alfred representative told What Now Los Angeles. The opening date could change depending on permits and inspections.
Alfred’s sign is already visible on the building. When the doors open, the first 100 customers will get a free drink and Alfred merchandise.
Alfred serves espresso, cold brew, iced coffee, ceremonial matcha, and seasonal drinks. Its food menu includes pastries and breakfast items.
Alfred opened its first cafe on Melrose Place in 2013. It has since opened more than 20 cafes, mostly in Los Angeles and surrounding communities. The company also has a location in Austin, Texas.
