Skims is set to open its second Las Vegas Valley location. According to the Las Vegas North Premium Outlets website, which listed the Kim Kardashian and Jens Grede brand as “coming soon”, the underwear, loungewear, and shapewear brand is slated to open at the outdoor mall at 875 S Grand Central Pkwy.
The new Skims store is currently only listed as coming soon. So word just yet on when exactly the new Skims store will open at the Las Vegas North Premium Outlets.
What Now Las Vegas reached out to the SVP of Retail at Skims, Tara Shanahan, to find out more about the exciting new development. Unfortunately, we did not hear back by the time of this publication.
“SKIMS is a solutions-oriented brand creating the next generation of underwear, loungewear and shapewear,” the Skims website reads.
“We are setting new standards by providing solutions for every body. From technically constructed shapewear that enhances your curves to underwear that stretches to twice its size, our goal is to consistently innovate on the past and advance our industry for the future.”
Skims is a multi-billion dollar shapewear and apparel brand founded in June 2019 by Kardashian, Jens, and Emma Grede. Kardashian started the brand after years of cutting, sewing, and dyeing her own shapewear with tea bags and coffee to match her skin tone. Backed by venture capital and heavy hitters like Goldman Sachs, the company reached a valuation of $5 billion. After years of relying on pop-ups and direct-to-consumer online sales, Skims began scaling brick-and-mortar flagship stores globally, including major locations in Los Angeles and London.
There are now 31 Skims retail locations worldwide, including 27 company-operated stores, two partner-operated doors in Mexico, and two franchise stores in the United Arab Emirates.
The first location to come to Vegas opened in The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace. The opening at the Las Vegas North Premium Outlets will round out the brand’s Las Vegas total to two storefronts.
Skims is anticipated to open within the Las Vegas North Premium Outlets at 875 S Grand Central Pkwy, likely this year.
