Broncos Mexican Grill, a Mexican restaurant serving tacos, burritos, seafood, breakfast, and other Mexican dishes, is working on a second location in Upland at 277 S Mountain Avenue.
The company, led by Carlos Corral, recently submitted a liquor license application for the Upland location. The new restaurant will replace I Like Pie Bakespace and The Cakewalk Cake and Candy Supplies at the address. An exact opening date has not been announced, according to Corral. Customers can expect Mexican food, seafood, breakfast, and beer.
Broncos Mexican Grill currently operates at 960 E Badillo Street in Covina. The menu includes breakfast plates, breakfast burritos, burritos, tacos, enchiladas, quesadillas, tortas, nachos, sopes, tostadas, and salads. Meat choices include asada, carnitas, al pastor, chicken, lengua, and birria.
Seafood is also a major part of the menu, with grilled and breaded fish and shrimp available in burritos and tacos. Other seafood options include shrimp ceviche, fish ceviche, shrimp cocktails, shrimp aguachiles, and Pika Pika shrimp. The restaurant also serves soups including beef soup, chicken soup, beef birria, and menudo on weekends.
The restaurant’s menu also includes vegetarian options, such as a veggie burrito made with spinach, carrots, squash, bell peppers, onions, and corn. Customers can also order a veggie and shrimp burrito, along with sides such as chips and guacamole, chips and salsa, and guacamole.
The Upland location would be Broncos Mexican Grill’s second location, following its Covina restaurant. The company has not announced additional details about the new location or its opening timeline, though the liquor license application indicates that plans are underway.
