The Cheesecake Factory plans to open at Village at Prasada in Surprise in the fourth quarter of 2027, a company representative told What Now Phoenix.
The restaurant will occupy approximately 7,500 square feet in the shopping center’s Restaurant Row, according to a SimonCRE announcement. Village at Prasada is off Waddell Road, east of Loop 303.
The Cheesecake Factory has ranked among the 10 restaurants most requested by Surprise residents since 2017. It moved into the top spot in the city’s annual retail survey in 2021 and remained there for six consecutive years.
“We have enjoyed being part of the greater Phoenix area since first opening there more than 25 years ago, and we were delighted to learn that the residents of Surprise have been asking to have us open there. We are looking forward to opening next year and being part of the Surprise community,” David Overton, founder, chairman, and chief executive officer of the company, said in the announcement.
At its existing restaurants, The Cheesecake Factory serves more than 250 dishes. The menu includes burgers, sandwiches, pasta, seafood, steaks, salads, brunch, and children’s meals, along with cheesecakes and other desserts.
The chain currently operates six Arizona restaurants in Chandler, Mesa, Peoria, Phoenix, Scottsdale, and Tucson.
A construction schedule and exact opening date for the Surprise location have not been announced. What Now Phoenix reached out to The Cheesecake Factory, and this article may be updated as more information becomes available.
