Tifosi Pizza and Trattoria is preparing to open at 2000 Main St., Suite 300, in Irvine, according to a California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control license filing. The new restaurant will combine pizza, Italian sandwiches, and a broader trattoria menu.

Tifosi is a collaboration involving Orange County chefs Zach Scherer, Frank DeLoach and Drew Adams. The concept brings together pizza and Italian food with a bar program, creating a restaurant intended to serve both casual and full-meal occasions.

The menu will include New York-style pizza by the slice, along with Italian sandwiches prepared with house-made bread. Other offerings include salads and a broader Italian trattoria menu.

The restaurant will also offer craft cocktails and a curated wine list, according to available business information. The combination of pizza, sandwiches, traditional Italian dishes and drinks distinguishes the concept from a pizza-only operation.

Tifosi’s Irvine address places the restaurant on Main Street, a commercial corridor with a mix of offices, restaurants and other businesses. The planned opening adds another Italian dining concept to the city.

The collaboration brings together chefs with experience in Orange County’s restaurant industry. Zach Scherer and Drew Adams are also associated with darkroom, which appeared on the Los Angeles Times’ 2025/26 list of the 101 best restaurants.

A specific opening date was not available in the public sources reviewed. The ABC filing establishes the planned Irvine address and provides evidence that the business is moving forward with its licensing process.
