Offering a line of apparel “Joyfully Designed to Celebrate You,” Emily McCarthy is a fashion brand founded by and named after clothing and lifestyle designer Emily McCarthy.
The brand, which has its flagship store at 2237 East Victory Drive in Savannah and whose apparel is available at stores around the country, is planning to make its Charleston retail debut with a new store opening on King Street.
“A few new neighbors are joining the district, bringing even more places to shop, dine, and discover while adding their own something special to the King Street community,” said King Street Charleston in an Instagram post published earlier this month.
Among the stores listed is Emily McCarthy, “coming soon” to 186 King St.
As a designer, McCarthy is “recognized for her distinctive, joyful point of view—where radiant color, refined form, and an enduring sense of style converge,” says the Emily McCarthy website. “Rooted in her foundation in fine arts and design, Emily’s evolution into fashion began at a young age, guided by an innate creative curiosity and an enduring appreciation for the artistry of textiles.”
Soon, Charleston residents will be able to stop by to find “confidence that carries you through every day.”
