Hot tenders and sandwiches are coming to the growing suburb.
The franchise company The Hari Group is building a new Dave’s Hot Chicken at 252 S Gary Avenue. This has been revealed by village development plans, and it will join chains including Qdoba and other retail concepts. As the space is under construction, an opening date is still to be determined.
The Hari Group currently owns around 22 locations in the Midwest. The team also operates chains like Dunkin’, Currito, McAlister’s Deli and Baskin Robbins. An additional Dave’s is coming downstate to Peoria, at 4205 W Lake Avenue in the near future.
Menus are very similar at each location, with popular items being chicken tenders, chicken sliders, cheese fries and milkshakes. Spice levels range from no spice to reaper. In addition to the meals, soft drinks are available.
The development is on the west side of N Gary Avenue, near the intersection of Army Trail Road. Other chains at the intersection include McAlister’s Deli, Starbucks and Popeyes. This is just south of the upcoming The Grove mixed-use development.
Right now, Bloomington and Peoria are the only two locations from the franchise company coming soon. What Now Chicago has reached out to The Hari Group for more information.
