The support storefront for the gigabit internet service debuted in Old Fourth Ward August 9.

Google Fiber’s Ponce City Market storefront, “Fiber Space,” is certified open.

The multinational technology company held a press conference Tuesday morning in the Old Fourth Ward unveiling the space.

Atlantans can use the “Fiber Space” to “stop by and learn about gigabit internet and crystal clear HDTV.”

In conjunction with the opening of the support center August 9, residents in Piedmont Heights and Midtown East can sign-up and start using Google Fiber internet and TV services immediately.

As more Internet lines are constructed, Virginia-Highland, Morningside, Lenox Park and Old Fourth Ward, will soon have availability to the services.
