Set to open in the former Toula’s Creole Kitchen at 109 Tchoupitoulas St., Curry Leaf Cuisine is preparing to offer essential South Asian dishes. According to plans submitted to the city, the establishment will feature traditional sit-down table service, while the extensive menu highlights traditional tandoori clay oven specialties, house-made curries, fresh-baked breads, and a robust selection of vegetarian options. The owners have filed for a full liquor license. What Now New Orleans has reached out for more information.

The upcoming opening brings more culinary diversity to the Central Business District, adding an everyday destination for both downtown workers and visitors seeking authentic Indian food. While the very popular LUFU NOLA is a nearby Indian spot, that concept is slightly more modern and elevated.
