Sukoshi, the Asian beauty retailer, is preparing to open a store at Westfield UTC in San Diego. The location at 4545 La Jolla Village Drive, Suite E-25, appears as coming soon in the brand’s store directory, according to Sukoshi’s website.
Founded in 2018, Sukoshi sells skincare and makeup products from Korea, Japan, and other parts of Asia, with more than 200 brands in its assortment.
According to a 2025 press release, CEO Linda Dang has said the company aims to create spaces where discovery and education make beauty more meaningful.
What Now San Diego reached out to Dang for information about the opening timeline but did not receive a response before publication. The brand’s website does not provide an opening date.
The San Diego location is part of a 13-store North American expansion the company announced this year. California is already a key part of that push.
Sukoshi opened at Westfield Valley Fair in Santa Clara earlier this year, and What Now Sacramento has reported that the retailer is heading to Westfield Galleria at Roseville. What Now Los Angeles also recently covered the brand’s upcoming Cerritos location at Los Cerritos Center..
The San Diego store would mark Sukoshi’s entry into one of Southern California’s most visited shopping destinations. Westfield UTC is an upscale open-air mall in La Jolla. The center draws a dense customer base from the surrounding neighborhoods of La Jolla, UTC, and the UC San Diego community.
