HomeGoods is moving its Hillsboro store to Tanasbourne Town Center, opening November 19. Doors are scheduled to be open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on opening day.

The store is relocating from The Crossroads at Orenco Station, where it has operated at 7350 NE Butler Road in Hillsboro. The company says the new store is a move, not a new market, so Hillsboro shoppers will have the retailer in a different part of town. The listing carries a note that dates are subject to change.

Tanasbourne Town Center has been adding tenants. New Seasons Market opened a 27,000-square-foot store there in April 2025. The center sits where NW 185th Avenue meets the Sunset Highway, one of the busiest shopping areas in Washington County. It replaced the old Tanasbourne Mall, an indoor mall built in 1975 and torn down in 1993, and now includes a Target.

HomeGoods is part of TJX Companies, the parent of T.J. Maxx and Marshalls. The off-price chain sells furniture, home décor, kitchenware, bedding, rugs and seasonal items at discounted prices.

The move comes as the area’s retail mix shifts. What Now Portland reported in July that Burlington is preparing to open at nearby Tanasbourne Village, along with Oregon’s first Jollibee.
