“Nestled in the heart of Aiken, SC, along the scenic stretch of Hwy 78, a new dining destination is taking shape in the former Old Montmorenci Winery,” says the website of Burrell & Flynn’s Farm. “Currently undergoing an extensive restoration and renovation, this space is being transformed into a warm, inviting restaurant that blends historic charm with modern comfort. Scheduled to open in late fall, the restaurant will source fresh, seasonal produce from local purveyors and farms (including our own!).”

Burrell & Flynn’s Farmhouse Kitchen will feature “a diverse and eclectic menu, offering a memorable dining experience for any day or any occasion. The restaurant will serve lunch and dinner throughout the week, featuring everything from light, garden-fresh salads and hearty sandwiches to chef-inspired entrées and daily specials.”

Well, that’s an exciting development from the team behind “Aiken’s best kept secret“!

What Now confirmed that renovations are underway with Burrell & Flynn’s Farm owner Beth Burrell on Saturday. Burrell said no opening date has been set yet as the space is “still undergoing extensive renovations.”

It’s a busy season for Burrell, who says she’s recently opened The Merry Market & Cafe in Windsor and whose Farm Dogs Aiken restaurant has just celebrated its first anniversary.

“Those two are pretty much keeping me hopping and in the kitchen,” Burrell said in an email conversation.

Stay tuned for more details as they become available!
