“The Donut Guy Sandhill is closing but the DONUTS AREN’T GOING ANYWHERE!” said a Facebook post published this week by The Donut Guy. “New chapter loading… When it’s time to Go, you GO! Sandhill, we’re clocking out! The Donut Guy is on the MOVE!”

The donut shop will close its store in the Village at Sandhill and relocate to Winnsboro, where it will reopen as Donut Guy Express.

What Now confirmed news of the move with a representative on Saturday. The representative said Donut Guy Express is hoping to be open within the next 30 days.

For the moment, however, the details are staying under wraps. No official opening date has been announced; the address for Donut Guy Express does not appear to have been revealed.

“The Donut Guy’s location at Village at Sandhill had been open for about three years,” says coverage published by The State. “The business is well known for the artisan mini-donuts and elephant ears it sells on the food truck and the wide variety of full-size donuts that it bakes in its brick-and-mortar shop.”
