Revol Greens MN, LLC has issued another WARN notice regarding its Medford, Minnesota, facility, postponing the planned closure for a second time. The Oct. 28 notice states that the company is continuing efforts to complete a transaction that could allow operations at the plant to continue.

Timeline of WARN Notices

Revol Greens first notified the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) and Medford Mayor Danny Thomas of the planned closure on Aug. 5. The notice stated that the facility would close on Oct. 4 if the company could not secure a sale of the site or business or obtain additional funding. The closure was expected to affect approximately 89 employees.

On Sept. 30, the company issued a postponement notice, moving the potential closure and related job losses to a 14-day period from Oct. 15 through Oct. 29.

The agricultural firm, on Oct 28, then issued its third letter to inform that it is continuing to try and save the plant from closure as negotiations to sell the site or business continue. The new date for closure, should a resolution not be found, is extended further into November with estimations occurring sometime between the 14-day period beginning Nov. 6, and ending Nov. 20.

“The postponement is due to ongoing efforts to close a transaction that may allow operations at the facility to continue,” Michaele Gobel Interim Chief Financial Officer stated in the Oct. 28 letter to state regulators. “If those efforts are unsuccessful, the plant closing and related employment losses are expected to occur during the 14-day period beginning November 6, 2026, and ending November 20, 2026. This additional notice supplements the Company’s August 5, 2026 WARN notice and the September 30, 2026, postponement notice.”

If the facility closes, approximately 89 employees would be affected. Positions listed in the company’s initial WARN notice are as follows:
