Playa Bowls has introduced a new winter menu, Cacao Chocolate Waves. The limited-time menu features four items made with the brand’s Playa Cacao Base, which the company says is made with pure cacao and contains no added sugar.
New Menu Offerings
“Who doesn’t want a little chocolate this time of year? Amid the hustle and bustle of the holidays, everyone deserves a moment of bliss, a chance to slow down and savor something irresistibly smooth,” Danielle DeAngelo, director of research and development at Playa Bowls said in a release. “Our new Playa Cacao Base satisfies that chocolate craving while bringing the nutritional benefits of cacao, a superfood in its own right. We hope everyone enjoys these beautiful, must-try seasonal bowls and smoothies.”
- Chocolate Coconut Joy Bowl: Half Playa Cacao Base and half Playa Coconut® Base topped with blueberry flax granola, potassium-rich banana, walnuts and a Nutella® drizzle, pairing rich chocolate and creamy coconut with nutty crunch and a chocolate-hazelnut finish, plus electrolytes and healthy fats from coconut.
- Chocolate Covered Strawberry Bowl:The Chocolate Covered Strawberry Bowl combines Playa Cacao Base and Stupid Cupid Base, a blend of strawberry, banana and organic coconut milk. It is topped with blueberry flax granola, fresh strawberries, banana and coco whip.
- Triple Dark Wave Smoothie: The Triple Dark Wave Smoothie blends Playa Cacao Base, Playa Coconut® Base, banana, chocolate protein, Nutella® and organic coconut milk, with an additional Nutella® swirl.
- PB Chocolate Wave Smoothie: The PB Chocolate Wave Smoothie blends Playa Cacao Base, banana, chocolate protein, peanut butter and organic coconut milk, finished with peanut butter and coco whip swirls.

The Cacao Chocolate Waves new offerings are available at locations across the country starting Nov. 3, for in-store pickup, online ordering, and third-party delivery while seasonal supplies last.
