According to public filings, Mendocino Farms is planning a new restaurant in Los Gatos. The new restaurant is planned at 15734 Los Gatos.
Mendocino Farms was founded in Southern California in 2005 and has grown into a fast-casual restaurant chain known for its chef-inspired sandwiches, salads and wraps. Its menu also includes soups, deli sides, seasonal specials and vegetarian and vegan options.
According to the Silicon Valley Business Journal, the proposed 2,722-square-foot restaurant would occupy a space formerly occupied by a home assistance business in a shopping center anchored by Nob Hill Foods.
The report describes the Los Gatos project as the chain’s ninth restaurant in Silicon Valley. Los Gatos would add to Mendocino Farms’ Northern California presence as the Los Angeles-founded chain continues expanding into new markets.
The company operates restaurants across California and several other states, with a menu centered on sandwiches, salads and seasonal dishes. Its offerings include chef-driven sandwiches, market salads, sides and catering.
The company has also been expanding elsewhere. What Now Dallas previously reported that Mendocino Farms is planning a restaurant at WestBend in Fort Worth, while What Now Orange County covered a planned location in Anaheim Hills. What Now Phoenix also reported the chain’s plans to open at Epicenter in Gilbert, Arizona.
