Muchacho is expanding its presence in Atlanta with a new Downtown Decatur location. The location will bring the restaurant’s West Coast-inspired menu to the neighborhood. Muchacho will mark the opening with a weekend of events, including live music, giveaways and a community surfboard-painting activity.
Muchacho Prepares to Open Another Atlanta-Area Location
Muchacho is scheduled to open its third location at 129 Church Street in Decatur on Nov. 6. It will take over the former Revival space and become the restaurant’s third location. It will join Muchacho’s existing locations in Reynoldstown and West Midtown.
The new restaurant will feature nearly 7,000 square feet of outdoor space with plenty of seating and greenery. It will also have an outdoor bar, a play area for children, and a garden space for private gatherings. The restaurant is housed in a renovated 1940 Craftsman bungalow and features a relaxed, beach-inspired design.
Muchacho Decatur will serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner, along with coffee and matcha drinks. Its breakfast menu will offer breakfast tacos, burritos, bowls, and toast. Popular options will include the BEC Taco with eggs, bacon, potatoes, and cheese. It will also include The Gonz with steak, eggs, potatoes, and avocado salsa.
The lunch and dinner menu will offer street tacos, burritos, bowls, and sandwiches. The restaurant will offer vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options and a separate menu for children. The drinks menu will include coffee, matcha, margaritas, seasonal cocktails, beer, wine, and agua fresca.
Opening Weekend Events
Muchacho will celebrate the opening of its Decatur location from November 6 to 8. As part of the opening celebrations, the restaurant will donate $1 from every burrito sold to the Decatur Education Foundation.
The first 25 guests each morning of the opening weekend will also receive a free branded coffee tumbler. Other activities will include a matcha pop-up with Atlanta-based Muracha, live music, cocktail specials, and a community surfboard painting activity for children.

The restaurant is also hosting a giveaway where one winner will get the chance to enjoy free Muchacho for a year. Online entries will remain open through November 22.
