What Now has reported recently on plans by Coastal Concepts Hospitality, the group behind restaurants like The Grumpy Monk and South Coast Beer Project, to launch two new restaurants at Myrtle Beach’s Broadway at the Beach development: Southern Social and Rustic & Rye.

That’s not all Coastal Concepts, headed up by Chris Evans and Heri Heryadi, has planned for the Myrtle Beach area, however.

According to coverage by the Post and Courier, in addition to the two Broadway at the Beach restaurants, CCH is also at work on a new pizza restaurant to open in Surfside Beach. It will be called Americana Detroit Style Pizza.

The specific site appears not to have been revealed yet. What Now was unable to reach a representative of CCH immediately for comment on Tuesday.

Opening in Surfside Beach, Americana Detroit Style Pizza will join a city with beachside restaurants like The Whistling Duck and Bubba’s Fish Shack, along with Italian restaurants like Casa Mia’s Surfside and The Original Valentino Italian Restaurant.

Stay tuned for more details on Americana Detroit Style Pizza as they become available!
