Rowan is working on another wider Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex opening. According to the nurse-led ear piercing studio‘s website, the new Rowan is expected to open in Stonebriar Centre in Frisco at 2601 Preston Road Suite 2228.
“Rowan Stonebriar Centre is your local destination for safe ear piercings by licensed nurses in Texas,” the Rowan website reads.
“Whether it’s a first piercing or your fifth, we create a fun, safe, and stylish experience for all ages.”
The opening is listed as coming soon, so it’s not clear just yet when the new ear piercing studio will open in Frisco. But the brand does accept walk-ins, though appointments are encouraged.
“Ear piercings are a big moment in someone’s life,” Nurse Cindy said on the brand’s website.
“As a Rowan Nurse, I get to make that experience safe, joyful, and confidence-building for every kid and family.”

Rowan was founded in 2017–2018 in New York City by Louisa Serene Schneider, a former Wall Street hedge fund manager who wanted a safer, more celebratory ear-piercing experience for her daughter. Schneider initially launched the company in NYC as a concierge at-home piercing service and subscription boxes.
What Now Dallas briefly spoke with Schneider about the brand.
“We’re the mom-founded, women-led company providing ear piercing by licensed nurses only, with hypoallergenic earrings always,” a press release about the brand reads.
In 2019, Schneider opened Rowan’s first standalone physical studio on the Upper East Side in New York City. Over the next couple of years, Rowan partnered with Target to open pop-up piercing studios in nearly 300 locations nationwide, before exiting the partnership to focus entirely on its own retail footprint. In 2022, the company launched a major brand refresh to expand its appeal beyond a strictly young/girly audience to teens, tweens, and adults.
