Benzino’s Crab Trap quietly shuttered its Midtown doors last week. As of Tuesday, the restaurant’s Facebook page has been deleted and its phone disconnected.
Owned by record producer Raymond “Benzino” Scott, Benzino’s Crab Trap relocated from Marietta to Midtown only six months ago, replacing Hi-Five Diner, at 903 Peachtree Street NE.
Hi-Five Diner, which replaced Villain’s under the same ownership (Alex Brounstein of Grindhouse Killer Burgers) and Little Azio’s before that, closed its doors November 13 making way for the crab-centric eatery.
No word on what will open next in the ever-revolving Midtown space sandwiched between Bezoria and Noodle.
