The grab-and-go health-conscious eatery will make its market debut in Alpharetta, Cumberland.

Eat Fit Go, a Nebraska-based franchised prepared-meals concept, is expanding to Georgia.

Franchise partner Eat Fit Group Atlanta is behind the expansion with plans to open 13 locations throughout the metro area.

The first will debut in Alpharetta in September, at 5530 Windward Parkway #325.

The second, in the Cumberland Festival shopping center at 2980 Cobb Parkway, is in the permitting process and will open in October.

Johns Creek and Sandy Springs are next.

Leases for the additional nine locations are in the works, according to Benjamin Case, an Eat Fit Group Atlanta investor.

“It’s tough to find healthy, nutritious quick-service food,” Case in an email Thursday told What Now Atlanta. “I have four small kids and we’re always on the go. Eat Fit Go gives us healthy options that are grab-and-go.”

The company offers chef-driven meals made daily out of a commissary in Kennesaw. The meals can be picked up at Eat Fit Go location and re-heated at home, in the office, or at the gym.

There are also microwaves in each store for guests wishing to dine in.

Meals expire after five days, he said.

“The grab-and-go concept is certainly growing in the Atlanta market, but there’s nothing quite like Eat Fit Go.”
