The Integral Group has pulled the plug on its highly-anticipated Eviva on Peachtree mixed-use development in Midtown.

Crews Wednesday were spotted dismantling signage and fencing along the perimeter of the site for the would-be 32-story project design by Perkins + Will.

On a visit to the space Thursday, What Now Atlanta (WNA) found the signage and fencing in a dumpster.

Eviva on Peachtree’s website, first registered in April 2016, expired last month and is up for auction on GoDaddy.

The project, at 811 Peachtree Street NE, was first uncovered in 2014 when construction permits were filed with the City of Atlanta. Signage and fencing went up several years later towards the end of 2017.

The plot of land—a lot managed by Lanier Parking—has since sat motionless.

Eviva on Peachtree promised “383 luxury rentals” and “neighborhood retail” with a delivery of early 2018, according to the now-disposed-of signage.

It’s unclear why the strikingly-designed tower won’t move forward.

Representatives for the developer, when reached by WNA on the telephone, would not immediately comment.

  • BEST NEWS EVER for us Condo owners at Viewpoint! I wonder what happened and why they cancelled it?

    • Very good news indeed. It would be great to see a shorter building that complements Viewpoint, 805, and the Manor House, rather than something massive that obstructs their views. And please, build it as condos– not another rental apartment building!

  • The multifamily rental market is overbuilt, especially in Midtown. It probably didn’t make economic sense to start construction.

    • Great point! I’m thrilled to see that they pulled the plug on it. Would’ve obstructed condo owner views.
