Gino’s East, a Chicago-based pizzeria known by its deep dish, Tuesday in a press release announced it will finally open its first Atlanta location Friday, December 7.
What Now Atlanta in early-2018 uncovered plans for the Gino’s East which was originally planning a summer 2018 debut.
At the Atlanta location, at 675 N. Highland Ave. NE, guests can look forward to the restaurant’s signature golden-crust Chicago-style pizzas.
Also on the menu will be appetizers, salads, sandwiches, and new “#DeepAF pizzas” which features more dough, extra cheese, and double the toppings.
“We couldn’t be more excited to finally announce our Atlanta opening the first week of December, it’s like an early Christmas present for the Chicago transplants,” Maggie Keeler, Marketing Director at Gino’s East, said in the release.
“Our Atlanta location will offer a true deep dish experience with a southern twist! I hope the ATL is ready to get #DeepAF.”
During the opening week, casual dining service will begin Friday through Saturday from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday through Thursday from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. serving dinner only, aiming to add delivery and carry out by the end of December.
Gino’s East Atlanta will be closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day and will be open New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
The new restaurant is owned and operated by Bravo Restaurants, Inc., who currently have locations across Chicagoland area, Wisconsin, Texas, Michigan, and Mexico City.
