UPDATE (April 11, 2019): Asheville’s Pour Taproom Opening Late-April in SPX Alley

Pour Taproom, a self-service craft beer and wine bar based in Asheville, NC, is expanding to Atlanta.

It will open along the Beltline in the SPX Alley development which is the under-construction Phase II of Stuioplex, at 661 Auburn Ave NE.

Ramon Ballester and Jonathan Kim are the operators bringing Pour Taproom to Atlanta.

“It’s really the perfect location for us,” Ballester in an email Saturday told What Now Atlanta.

“The proximity to other Beltline favorites as well as future hospitality offerings opening around the area make it a perfect destination for Atlanta locals and visitors to the area.”

Ballester and his team will be “partnering with another Studioplex vendor to provide a full food menu to our customers.”

Those details are being ironed out.

“It will be a unique partnership that will be seamless to our customers.”

Pour Taproom is currently in the early stages of permitting with the City of Atlanta.

It should open the first or second quarter of 2019.

“We look forward to bringing a craft beer and wine festival every day to the Beltline!”

Founded in 2014 by Nate Tomforde, Pour Taproom currently operates eight locations throughout the southeast.

The company offers a “unique self-serve system that allows you to try a large variety and selection of beer, cider, and wine,” according to its website.

“We constantly rotate our selection so we can offer a beer festival every day.”
