After a two-year transformation process, TAO Beach Dayclub will reopen at The Venetian Resort this spring, according to a recent press release, which describes the opening as “the final step of a complete reimagining of the five-acre rooftop pool deck of the original tower of the Venetian Resort.”

Designed by award winning design and architecture firm the Rockwell Group, the space’s size will be double its pre-renovation size, able to accommodate as many as 3,000 guests. At center stage will be a new DJ booth described as a “key aspect of [TAO Beach’s] concept.” Guests will be able to enjoy poolside dancing in the company of major musical acts.

The experience will also include a “poolside and cabana menu,” featuring dishes like “oversized sushi boats and over-the-top edible structures,” offering a culinary experience both gustatory and visual. Already-popular TAO Restaurant dishes will also be making a return: “beautiful seafood towers, sashimi carved table-side, and elegantly crafted hand rolls.”

“A natural material palette with orange and warm wood tones creates a backdrop for a variety of art installations, including two 15-foot-tall sculptures by acclaimed artist Daniel Popper,” reads the press release’s description of the newly renovated space. “Known for his larger-than-life works, Popper created a pair of sculptural hands at the entry and a tree goddess that welcomes guests to the main bar.”

Musical guests will include Swedish superstar DJ Alesso, DJ and producer Fisher, and Black Book Records founder Chris Lake, among others.

What Now Las Vegas reached out to TAO Group COO Bill Bonbrest on Tuesday morning. Bonbrest was unavailable for comment.
