Local restaurant and bar Irene’s Cocktail Lounge, which has offered the community 24-hour service with gaming, drinks, breakfast, lunch, and dinner at 5480 Spring Mountain Rd for years, is currently closed for business. The same is true of Irene’s Gaming Lounge on Tropicana Ave. However, there are indications that a reopening may be in the works for the Spring Mountain Location. The restaurant, marked “Temporarily Closed” on Google, recently filed for a permit for work on its grease interceptor.
Irene’s Cocktail Lounge’s menu has featured breakfast plates like Biscuits and Gravy, Crispy Chicken Fried Steak, and Irene’s Kitchen Sink Omelet (Sausage, ham, bacon, tomatoes, onions, green peppers, black olives, cheese and jalapenos with potatoes and toast). Burgers like the Billy the Kid Burger (Topped with bacon, American cheese and our special dressing) and Irene’s BBQ Burger, along with sandwiches like Irene’s Turkey Melt and the Club Sub, make for a tasty lunch or dinner.
Pizza varieties like Cheese Louise and The Meteor (Meatier) are similarly indulgent. Guests looking for something on the lighter side can choose from six different salads, including the Chicken Fajita Salad and the Chinese Chicken Salad, with golden brown chicken strips and sesame dressing.
What Now Las Vegas reached out on Tuesday to owner Tammi DeBauche. DeBauche was not immediately available to comment or confirm the restaurant’s reopening. No reopening date has been announced.
