Danny Dib, known for being the owner of Long Beach’s long-running craft beer-focused liquor shop Stearns Liquor, has a new venture called Tennessee Jack’s. Opening up on 4000 E. Anaheim St, Tennessee Jack’s is destined to be a huge hit.

What Now Los Angeles (WNLA) was lucky enough to get Dib on the phone and discuss the upcoming opening and he discussed his inspiration for opening Tennessee Jack’s, which may have originated from Dib’s love of the Tennessee culture.  Dib also noticed some of the culture lacking in the Long Beach area. “Not too many country bars,” Dib told WNLA.

Dib used to fly back and forth to Nashville, enjoying all the local restaurants. Something he took back with him was his love of hot chicken sandwiches, which he hopes to implement at Tennessee Jack’s.

Tennessee Jack’s is following in the footsteps of Stearns Liquor, focusing on craft beers. Stearns Liquor, a rather famous spot for its selection of over 3000 different kinds of craft beer, was the product of his passion. Tennessee Jack’s will have 20 different, constantly rotating craft beer taps–obviously with a wide selection of whiskeys and bourbons.

Dib hopes to open Tennessee Jack’s by the end of October. As of right now, there are no plans to open up any future locations.
