C&S Seafood and Oyster Bar, which first opened in 2016 as C&S Chowder House and was rebranded in 2019, has permanently closed.
The restaurant’s last day, at 12040 Etris Road, was Friday, May 15, 2020.
Co-owners Rich Clark and Jon Schwenk announced the news in a press release, citing an “unprecedented circumstance” for the closure without directly mentioning the coronavirus outbreak.
โWeโve been in the business for a long time and itโs never easy to make this kind of decision, but due to the unfortunate series of events we know this is ultimately whatโs best,โ Clark said.
โAlthough the situation is less than ideal, we could not be more thankful for the support weโve received from our cherished staff, neighbors, and loyal patrons throughout this journey and we look forward to the exciting chapters to come.โ
The restaurant isn’t going away for good, however.
Parent company C&S Restaurant Group is keeping plans to open a C&S Seafood and Oyster Bar in Sandy Springsโ Modera complex in fall 2020.
