Tiny home lovers this April can tour eight to ten “unique small homes and accessory dwelling units” in “historic Atlanta.”
MicroLife Institute (formerly known as Tiny House Atlanta) is hosting Atlanta’s “first-ever” Atlanta Micro Home Tours April 14, 2018, showcasing the 180- to 1,000-square-foot homes.
These homes “are great examples of efficient space design, sustainability, and downsizing living,” according to a press release Tuesday about the upcoming tour.
Attendees will be able to bike and drive on a self-guided tour a number of living spaces in the Inman Park, Candler Park, Old Fourth Ward, Cabbagetown and Grant Park neighborhoods.
There will be an informational and networking after party at the new Grindhouse burger on Memorial from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. All participants with a wristband get 10 percent off Grindhouse from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Tickets for Atlanta Mico Home Tours are currently on sale, with early bird discount ($15) until March 14. General Admission is $20, the guided bike tour is $30, and the guided bike tour and rental is $50.
Proceeds support the MicroLife Institute and “our mission to educate and promote the development of micro-housing initiatives.”
