Concept will now offer fresh-to-order breakfast and lunch sandwiches, happy hour, student discount, and feature expanded weekend hours.

Cafe Lucia is giving it another go in Downtown Atlanta.

The coffee shop used to called One Caffe Coffee when it was located inside the Flatiron building at . In August of last year, the business moved and reopened nearby as Cafe Lucia fronting Forsyth Street inside the historic Healey Building.

Nine months later in April, the outpost shuttered. David Jackson, the new owner, reopened the concept this month.

Jackson told What Now Atlanta (WNA) Monday that the establishment will now offer “fresh-to-order” breakfast and lunch sandwiches. Another new addition is a “Happy Hour” where drinks will be priced at $3.00 between 3 and 6 PM.

On the weekends, Cafe Lucia plans to introduce spoken word events in the evenings during expanded hours which Jackson says have yet to be determined.

“We are always open to suggestions,” Jackson told WNA.

Jackson is a Georgia State University graduate and will be offering a 10% discount to GSU students.
