UPDATE (July 10, 2019): Restaurant Eugene Is Closing In August, Will be Replaced by ‘Eugene and Elizabeth’s’

Hopkins and Company (formerly Resurgens Hospitality Group) has inked a deal to open a yet-to-be-named restaurant in Colony Square, the Atlanta Business Chronicle Monday first reported (paywall).

Representatives for the restaurant group, including Co-Owner Gina Hopkins, and North American Properties, Colony Square’s developer, confirmed the news via telephone and in an email to What Now Atlanta (WNA).

The new restaurant will be situated in Building 400 (entrance pictured above) of the Midtown mixed-use, at 1201 Peachtree Street NE, in a 4,000-square-foot space.

Hopkins and Company, led by Executive Chef Linton Hopkins, is still finalizing the concept.

News of the restaurant arrives on the heels of plans for Rumi’s Kitchen in Colony Square and more recently, the debut of The Grove.

Hopkins and Company owns and operates Restaurant Eugene, Holeman & Finch Public House, Holeman & Finch Bottle Shop, Eugene Kitchen, H&F Burger, Hop’s Chicken, and C. Ellet’s Steakhouse.
