Focus Brands Inc. is opening a new Jamba Juice in Midtown on the Georgia Tech Campus.
The quick-service smoothie chain will be housed on the ground level of the Technology Square Research Building, at 85 5th Street NW.
It is slated to open “before the fall semester starts in August,” Micky Boekl, vice president of design and construction at Focus, in an email Thursday told What Now Atlanta.
The Georgia Tech Jamba Juice will be one of two corporate stores the company will open this year in Atlanta, Boekl said.
It’s unclear where and when the second store will pop-up.
On the menu are smoothies, juices, yogurt, wheatgrass shots, steel-cut oatmeal, and baked goods.
Focus acquired Jamba Juice in 2018 for $200 MM.
The company joins the Atlanta-based franchisor and operator’s portfolio of seven brands across more than 6,300 locations.
Jamba Juice has six existing Georgia locations, all of which are in the greater metro Atlanta area: the Airport, Midtown (Turner Food Market), Decatur, Chastain Square, Sandy Springs, and Marietta.
