A new hookah lounge is headed to Atlanta.

Lux Cafe is coming soon to 728 Monroe Drive NE, near the Eastside BeltLine trail. The space is located about a half-mile west of Ponce City Market.

Described as an Afrobeat luxury cafe and lounge, Lux Cafe has a mission of bringing music and dancing to the area, providing a sophisticated and fun nightlife experience to visitors. It will feature signature hookah flavors, and they have partnered with Southern Suya on the cuisine.

“Whether you’re a music lover, a dance enthusiast, or simply seeking a sophisticated night out, Lux Cafe has something for everyone,” according to the company.

Lux Cafe LLC was created in September 2024, according to a filing with the Georgia Secretary of State’s office.

Lux Cafe is planning a soft opening for later this month, featuring live DJ sets, photo opportunities, and more. Follow on Instagram @luxxcafeatl for updates.
