A sweet new tenant is coming to East Atlanta Village.

The Spun Cow is planned for Southern Feedstore, according to a recent building permit application with the City of Atlanta.

The menu includes ice cream, cotton candy, soda floats and milkshakes. It can currently be found in Birmingham and Dallas. The Spun Cow Creamery ATL LLC was created in February 2025, according to a filing with the Georgia Secretary of State’s office.

Owner David Fontanez told What Now Atlanta they are hoping to be open in April 2025. He said they are excited to expand into Atlanta and be part of a growing area.

Southern Feedstore is located at 1245 Glenwood Avenue SE. The Spun Cow would add a dessert option to the food hall. Existing tenants include Woody’s CheeseSteaks, Brasiliana Pizza, Sinful Slidrz, Buteco Coffee & Bar, and Buena Papa Fry Bar.

The Spun Cow is planned for booth 3, a space previously occupied by Waffle Bar, which closed in fall 2024.
