Van Leeuwen Ice Cream opens its new store in Dunwoody on August 13. This will mark the brand’s third Georgia location, following stores at Ponce City Market and Peachtree Corners. The new store is located at 4505 Ashford Dunwoody Road.
Van Leeuwen Ice Cream is a premium American ice cream company. It began in New York with a single yellow ice cream truck in 2008. The company built its brand around ice cream made with carefully sourced ingredients.
The company has since expanded to more than 50 stores across the U.S. It also sells pints in many grocery stores, with nationwide shipping available.
The brand is known for its simple ingredient lists and premium ingredients such as Sicilian pistachios, Ceylon cinnamon, and high-quality vanilla. Some of its most popular flavors include honeycomb, Earl Grey tea, vanilla bean, and coffee affogato. The company has also introduced limited-edition flavors such as Kraft mac & cheese, Hidden Valley Ranch, pizza, and hot honey.
The brand is opening its Dunwoody location shortly after Van Leeuwen’s Peachtree Corners debut.
