It’s gloves-off for two late-night cookie delivery options in Midtown.

The battle for Midtown’s taste buds for two late-night delivery cookie companies will soon be underway as Tiff’s Treats nears its grand opening down the street from the recently-debuted Insomnia Cookies.

Tiff’s will enter the ring August 27, according to a company press release Thursday, situated at 848 Spring Street NW, in the Square on Fifth residential tower.

Insomnia Cookies is on the street-level of University House, at 930 Spring Street NW, 0.2 miles away from Tiff’s, according to Google Maps.

Before you start placing bets on who will throw dough first, Tiff’s is offering a sweet deal with a sweeter cause.

A dozen cookies can be snagged during Tiff’s grand opening for $2 (because it’s the bakery’s second Atlanta-area location) with proceeds benefitting local non-profit, Ian’s Friends Foundation.

This next part is important, so read up. The Austin, TX-based company will also be giving away prizes including gift cards to local area restaurants and shops, randomly inserted into boxes of cookies. The first 40 people in line will receive Tiff’s Treats gift cards, and everyone who attends has a chance to win free cookies for a year.

This is the 24th store for Tiff’s and the second store outside of Texas. A third Atlanta-area location is slated for Sandy Springs later this year.
