A feast for the senses is coming to Alpharetta this summer.

The Scented Cottage will be located at 19035 Birmingham Highway, bringing niche luxury fragrances and engaging and educational experiences to metro Atlanta.

The new shop comes from Jessi Park, the founder of Elysian Parfum, which will be the house line at The Scented Cottage. Founded in 2021, Elysian Parfum fragrances are handcrafted and packaged in Atlanta.

The shop will feature Elysian Parfum’s full collection along with other niche fragrance brands. The store will also feature hand-sourced antiques and vintage décor, with every item available for purchase, created a showroom atmosphere.

The Scented Cottage also plans to host perfume-making classes and workshops, like Perfume 101 (a two-hour session where participants will have access to more than 130 fragrant molecules to help craft a unique scent) and classes on the history of perfumery and how the Victorian era shaped today’s fragrance industry.

They also plan to host community events like Sip & Sniff Nights, where guests can enjoy wine and learn about fragrances and showcases highlighting rare materials.

“I’m so excited to bring this vision to life,” Park said in a statement. “The Scented Cottage will be more than just a retail space – it’s going to be an immersive, hands-on experience where people can explore fragrance in a way that’s both educational and personal. The blend of antique décor, flowers from the property, and the chance to create your own scent will make it a truly unique destination. I can’t wait to share the world of Elysian Parfum, made right here in Atlanta, Georgia, by our all-female staff, with everyone in the community.”

The Scented Cottage is expected to open in late July or August 2025.
