The growing chain Insomnia Cookies plans to soon build out a downtown Austin location. According to a recent public records, the shop is coming to 1401 E 6th St within suite 203.
The (estimated) $234,927 construction project will consist of “Tenant finish-out to interior only of 1,158 sf of space” and is set to wrap up in late February 2024.
Readers unfamiliar with the brand can expect the Insomnia Cookies outpost to serve fresh-baked cookies, cookie cakes, brownies, and cookie & ice cream sandwiches — plus side orders of icing for those feeling indulgent — for delivery and pick up.
No opening date has yet been set. Until the newest location opens, readers can find the existing Austin store near UT-Austin, at 2323 San Antonio Street.
