According to recent public records, a new coffee shop is coming to Austin.

Clara’s Day Dive will soon begin building up at 95 Clara St, in East Austin. The establishment will be found near popular eateries such as la Barbecue and Juan in a Million.

What Now Austin briefly reached co-owner Caleb Kilborn, but he did not provide detail on the upcoming project. Local readers should note that Mr. Kilborn is part owner of Green Light Social, a bar establishment with a location in Austin and Dallas.

Fortunately, construction documents reveal key information. “The proposed project converts an existing single family residence to a coffee bar with 731 sq. ft. of building addition and 456 sq. ft. of exterior rear deck,” the project description states.

Estimated at $900,000, the 2,068 SF space is not estimated to reach completion until December 2025.
