A new greek yogurt concept plans to open in Austin. According to public filings, the project, Agapi Greek Yogurt, is planning to open at 2068 S Lamar Blvd, Unit 200. The filing calls for a small restaurant, with occupancy for up to 23 people and no fixed seating, a setup consistent with a fast-casual, walk-up yogurt bar.
A brand with a similar name, Agapi Greek Yogurt, already operates in India, though it’s not confirmed whether the two are connected or if it’s a case of matching names. What Now Austin reached out to business contact Avani Reddy multiple times to ask whether the Austin location would mark a U.S. debut for that brand or an entirely new, independent concept, but had not heard back by press time.
Previous records show the same space at 2068 S Lamar Blvd Unit 200 was originally registered in December 2025 under “SG Bakery”. The project resurfaced months later under a new concept, Agapi Greek Yogurt, suggesting a pivot in the business direction before opening.
The South Lamar corridor near this location sits just south of Zilker Park and Barton Springs, an area that has become one of Austin’s denser mixed-use stretches, blending office buildings, apartments and a steady rotation of restaurants and specialty food concepts. The stretch draws a mix of daytime office workers and nearby residents, along with visitors passing through en route to the park, giving a compact grab-and-go concept like a yogurt bar a built-in audience across different times of day.
