A fresh dining concept is making its way to Boston’s South End, courtesy of Broadway Restaurant Group (BRG).

According to a job listing on bostonchefs.com (via Boston Restaurant Talk), the group is developing a new restaurant centered on “Italian-inspired hospitality.”

While the name has yet to be finalized, a Facebook comment from Marc Julien of GTI Properties suggests the eatery will open in the former Cinquecento space at 500 Harrison Ave.

“…the menu will be a mix of two of their incredible restaurants, Prima in Charlestown and Capo in South Boston,” wrote Julien.

An Italian steakhouse, Prima is known for its craft cocktails and elevated takes on classic Italian dishes. Capo, on the other hand, specializes in hearty Italian staples like pasta and pizza.

Beyond Prima and Capo, BRG operates a number of Boston area eateries including Lincoln Tavern & Restaurant, Loco Taqueria & Oyster Bar, Fat Baby Sushi, and Hunter’s Kitchen & Bar.

The yet-to-be-named restaurant is slated to open in May 2025. What Now Boston has reached out to BRG partners Eric Aulenback and Mike Shaw for more information and will provide updates as they become available.
