A popular Nashville-style hot chicken chain is preparing to land at the Boston Logan International Airport.
Dave’s Hot Chicken is set to open in Terminal B at 1 Harborside Dr, Unit BA2-A15, reports The Patriot Ledger. A representative for the company confirmed the upcoming location with What Now Boston, noting that the fast-casual restaurant is tentatively expected to debut in about a month, pending final construction and operational approvals.
Founded as a parking lot pop-up in East Hollywood in 2017, Dave’s Hot Chicken is known for its Halal-certified Nashville-style hot chicken tenders and sliders, available in seven heat levels ranging from “No Spice” to the notoriously fiery “Reaper.” The menu also includes crinkle-cut fries, loaded mac and cheese, milkshakes, and other comfort-food favorites.
Following the success of its first brick-and-mortar restaurant in 2018, Dave’s has expanded to nearly 400 locations across the United States, Canada, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and the United Kingdom. Massachusetts alone is home to more than a dozen restaurants, including local outposts in Boston’s Theatre District and Fenway neighborhoods, as well as Medford, Newton, Saugus, Woburn, and Dedham.
The Logan Airport location will be operated by PhaseNext Hospitality, LLC, a franchise and airport concessions group that manages several well-known brands, including Buffalo Wild Wings, Smashburger, Jimmy John’s, Dunkin’, and The Italian Kitchen.
“Dave’s Hot Chicken is an exciting brand that is new to the airport space,” said PhaseNext Hospitality CEO and President Roz Mallet in a statement. “Our team is looking forward to bringing DHC to Boston Logan Airport.”
Once open, the restaurant will join existing quick-service dining options at the airport, including B.GOOD, Buffalo Wild Wings GO, CAVA, Chick-fil-A, and Dunkin’.
