Cook Out will be opening in Moncks Corner by July 2024 and North Charleston by October 2024, CEO Jeremy Reaves confirmed to What Now Charleston. The wildly popular restaurant is known for its burgers, milkshakes and Southern barbecue.

Since opening its first location in 1989, Cook Out’s footprint has been rapidly expanding with hundreds of locations throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, Maryland, Mississippi, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia.

The chain has gained numerous accolades and is often recognized as the best fast food in the South. The Southern staple prides itself on using fresh ingredients and never-frozen patties. The prices are pretty unbeatable, too. For only around $5, customers can order a Cook Out Tray that includes a main dish (burger, BBQ, hot dog, quesadilla or chicken), two sides and a drink.

Additional South Carolina locations listed as “Coming Soon” on their website include Myrtle Beach, Newberry, Greenville, Beaufort and Columbia.
