A brand new distillery and brewery concept is preparing to open a new location in Myrtle Beach.
Ole Smoky Distillery LLC, from Gatlinburg, Tenn., and Yee-Haw Brewing Co., from Johnson City, Tenn., have begun constructing a distillery and brewery concept planned to open in 2026, according to a news release from the companies, first reported by the Charleston Business Journal. This will mark their first joint project outside of Tennessee for both companies. Burroughs & Chapin is the real estate firm for the project; Monteith Construction Corp. leads construction, and LSP3 is the architect.
“We’re incredibly excited to bring the Ole Smoky and Yee-Haw brands to Myrtle Beach,” Joe Baker, founder of Ole Smoky Distillery and Yee-Haw Brewing, said in the release. “This vacation destination’s passion for great beverages and world-class entertainment makes it the perfect place for us to share our traditions and craft. We look forward to offering an experience as rich and distinctive as our beer and spirits.”
When it opens, the property will have an indoor and outdoor area featuring a beer garden, full-service distillery, tasting rooms, and event space, according to the release. The venue will offer guided tours within walking distance of Broadway at the Beach’s shopping, dining, and entertainment.
“We are thrilled to bring Ole Smoky Distillery and Yee-Haw Brewing Co. to Broadway at the Beach,” April Martin, senior vice president of leasing and design at Burroughs & Chapin, said in the release. “This collaboration enhances our guest experience with unique craft beverages and lively events and is a perfect addition to our entertainment landscape, providing a fresh and vibrant spot for both locals and visitors to enjoy.”
